I've been with Academy Dental Care for a number of years now. I found them when seeking a second opinion after an examination by an NHS dentist who missed a major issue with my teeth. At all times the staff at Academy have been caring, efficient and sensitive to my needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are excellent.

I got the Enlighten professional whitening treatment where Dr Ritcha Gobin assisted and answered all of my question. I also proceeded to receive the Icon Spot Treatment which she conducted very professionally and painlessly. Would 100% recommend!!!!

The team at Academy Dental Centre in Sandhurst have been amazing. Root canal work is never something to look forward to, but they made the preparation and treatment actually enjoyable. Nancy carried out the work and I can honestly say I didn’t feel a thing, no pain or discomfort at any point during or after the treatment. I had a really great experience with Priya, the hygienist. I was quite nervous going in as I hadn’t been to the dentist in years, but she was incredibly friendly and immediately put me at ease. The cleaning (including Airflow) was completely painless, and she was professional, efficient, and very pleasant throughout. She also took the time to explain things clearly and helped calm my nerves, which made a big difference. Really happy with the service—would definitely recommend.

Had to have a bridge made to replace a broken tooth, I felt I was treated with a high standard of treatment and respect, the practice is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very attentive.

I have been a patient at Academy Dental for many years. I have just completed an Invisalign treatment plan. My experience with has been excellent. Dr Gobin took the time to carefully explain each stage of the treatment, checked my progress regularly, and was consistently kind, caring and reassuring throughout. She really puts you at ease. The reception team are also super friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall positive experience. As a patient of over 20 years, I would highly recommend this practice. Every treatment over the years was excellent, the staff always very helpful and very pleasant waiting room after refurbishment carried out recently. As a very nervous patient, I can fully recommend the surgery from Christina (the receptionist) through to Dr Ritcha (the dentist), Sharon and Tara (nurses) and Sara (hygienist). All were very patient and kind, taking time to explain the process and allowing for questions whilst making me feel comfortable. I honestly can’t recommend Academy Dental in Sandhurst enough. I’ve recently had porcelain veneers done by Dr Ritcha and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. Dr Ritcha is a complete perfectionist and it really shows — she took so much care to make sure everything was spot on, and my smile looks better than I could have hoped for. She and Sharon, her nurse, were amazing throughout the whole process: professional, kind and very reassuring, and they always made me feel comfortable and well looked after. I've been a client at Academy Dental for over 20 years. Everyone in the team is friendly and the clinic offers a warm, reassuring feel. I'm fortunate to have never required treatment, but would feel safe in their hands. Facilities have been upgraded over the years and staff retention is good. Priya is a fantastic hygienist, Dr Gobin and Dr Sam are fab and the reception team always helpful and welcoming. It's why I keep coming back.

Changed to this surgery due to being unhappy with the dentist I had been with for 25+ years. So thankful that I did. Just had two teeth extracted and a bone implant due to a severely infected tooth. Experienced the utmost care and professionalism with no pain, could ask for no more. The staff are lovely and the facilities and equipment are state of the art. I’ve been with Academy Dental for about four years now, and I’m really happy with my check‑ups and treatments with Dr Gobin and Nurse Sharon; they’re always reassuring, gentle, and thorough. The switch from Dr Dhillon to Dr Gobin has been really smooth, and I’ve felt in good hands throughout. I recently came here for a check up, and sadly needed multiple fillings. They had me booked in quickly, completed most fillings in one session and unfortunately I had one filling close to a nerve, due to no fault of their own but due to me having such deep decay and I was in a LOT of pain, they got me slotted straight back in for an emergency appointment, ensured i was extremely comfortable and numb and completed the work very quickly and now I have no pain whatsoever and my teeth are perfect! Thank you so much for your assistance, kindness and brilliant customer service! Would Recommend!

Great dental practice and very helpful staff!

AMAZING WORK CARRIED OUT BY DR. RITCHA GOBIN & HER NURSE SHARON WHO WAS THERE TO HELP. I had an amalgam filling which had leaked from behind on to a front tooth, making it a grey colour, and this was to the right of my two big front teeth. This amalgam filling was removed by Dr. Ritcha Gobin & a white filling was put in its place. Unfortunately, after a course of Enlighten Evo4 my teeth were certainly whiter but the grey coloured tooth remained. Therefore, Dr. Gobin recommended a porcelain veneer and I had two of these made up from scans and a template sent to a dental lab. I also had the amalgam filling removed from my front tooth on the left hand side of my two big teeth as I thought this would cause problems for me later. A composite filing was put in behind this tooth. I now have my two porcelain veneers in place. They look so natural & I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR RITCHA & HER TEAM AT ACADEMY DENTAL PRACTICE FOR ANY DENTAL WORK YOU ARE THINKING OF HAVING CARRIED OUT!

My experience with Academy Dental has always been extremely positive. I have had 2 lots of major work done in the last 4 years and each time has been a positive experience. I was worried about discomfort mainly but this was never an issue as the anaesthetic is administered in such a way you barely feel it. I have recently had some cosmetic dentistry and I am very pleased with the outcome especially as I’m a bit older with receded gums . The dentist talks you through options. I took a long time to go for it and never felt pressured. I just wish I d done it sooner

I have always been extremely scared of the dentist, but the team at Dental Academy have been absolutely fantastic from the very start and made me feel completely at ease. After my initial visit, they advised that I should see the hygienist, something that really worried me. That’s when I met Priya, who is quite simply brilliant. She took her time, explained everything clearly, and most importantly ensured I was completely comfortable and felt no pain at all. I chose Academy Dental to carry out my Invisalign treatment and I cannot recommend the service and the Team enough. Dr Ritcha Gobin led the treatment and was fantastic throughout, making herself available at short notice in the first few weeks to tweek the treatment and handle any concerns. We had regular check in's every 2 weeks throughout the 30 week treatment and everything was handled swiftly and professionally throughout. The management and reception team were also excellent and very much make their patients feel like regular clients.

I have had 4 caps replaced, the two long appointments with Dr Ritcha Gobin and dental nurse Sharon were very good experiences. I had no discomfort or pain. At all stages Ritcha explained the process and what she was doing. Both of them were very reassuring; regularly checking that I was comfortable. I am very pleased with my new teeth, they are an excellent match and very comfortable.

I went to Academy Dental needing a root canal treatment followed by a crown. The staff are very welcoming from the start and very efficient. I was treated by Nancy and I felt very safe in her hands; I was told exactly what was happening every step of the way and was made to feel comfortable throughout. I'm going to switch to Academy Dental for check-ups too as I trust them to provide the best possible service and treatment options.
