My experience with Academy Dental has always been extremely positive.
I have had 2 lots of major work done in the last 4 years and each time has been a positive experience. I was worried about discomfort mainly but this was never an issue as the anaesthetic is administered in such a way you barely feel it.
I have recently had some cosmetic dentistry and I am very pleased with the outcome especially as I’m a bit older with receded gums .
The dentist talks you through options. I took a long time to go for it and never felt pressured. I just wish I d done it sooner

I chose Academy Dental to carry out my Invisalign treatment and I cannot recommend the service and the Team enough. Dr Ritcha Gobin led the treatment and was fantastic throughout, making herself available at short notice in the first few weeks to tweek the treatment and handle any concerns. We had regular check in's every 2 weeks throughout the 30 week treatment and everything was handled swiftly and professionally throughout. The management and reception team were also excellent and very much make their patients feel like regular clients.

I have had 4 caps replaced, the two long appointments with Dr Ritcha Gobin and dental nurse Sharon were very good experiences. I had no discomfort or pain. At all stages Ritcha explained the process and what she was doing. Both of them were very reassuring; regularly checking that I was comfortable. I am very pleased with my new teeth, they are an excellent match and very comfortable.

I went to Academy Dental needing a root canal treatment followed by a crown. The staff are very welcoming from the start and very efficient. I was treated by Nancy and I felt very safe in her hands; I was told exactly what was happening every step of the way and was made to feel comfortable throughout.
I'm going to switch to Academy Dental for check-ups too as I trust them to provide the best possible service and treatment options.

I had an amazing experience at Academy Dental Care. Everyone in the clinic is extremely friendly, from Christina and Lucy at reception to the doctors. I had limited time before traveling to sort out everything I needed and they managed to get everything done within a week. The first consultation with Dr Ritcha was very clarifying and modern. I was incredibly nervous, however, Dr Nancy Morgan was incredibly patient and referred me to have a tooth extraction with Dr Samra who handled the whole situation professionally and reassured me every step of the way, along with his nurse and fabulous seditionist, Dr Tushar. The whole procedure was over and dealt with quickly and can't thank Dr Samra enough for being a top class dentist and thoroughly nice guy! I think my dental fears have been cured and must say anyone who's scared of the dentist should give these guys a visit because from the Receptionists, Christina and Lucy right through to the nurses and dentists themselves are a great bunch of people. I Came in for an emergency root canal treatment and I was greeted with the most hospitable staff and and clean atmosphere, I would definelty recommend everyone to come here as they have helped me out massively.

I was dreading this day a crown to be removed and a root canal. I can honestly say from start to finish and after nearly 3 hours it wasn't as bad as my fears. Nancy and her nurse ( sorry can't remember her name) were amazing. Painless injections jaw props to help my small mouth and updates on what was happening. I was due to have 2 appointments but Nancy managed to get it all done in one sitting. Thank you so much for such wonderful care and anyone who tells you it's awful having root canal treatment it's not with Nancy. Highly recommended

I decided to use Academy after a disappointing experience with my previous dentist in relation to a need for two implants. I have to say that my experience with Sam for having two implants that required grafts was, to say the least, outstanding. Very pleased with the overall care provided by Academy. My routine check-up and hygiene visits at this modern, high standard and friendly environment has helped me greatly in overcoming previous anxiety about going to the dentist. I have been particularly impressed with the way in which Dr Ravinder recently took over my dental care, outlining her general approach then establishing a detailed baseline including taking photographs of my teeth and gums. After a few years of avoiding getting a number of fillings, Dr Ravinder gave me the assurance I needed by fully explaining the procedure which was subsequently done without discomfort and I am delighted with the outcome. this was the latest visit following a fall in which I broke two teeth. I have been going to Academy Dental Care since March 2025. I have always received treatment with patience and Care ( I am terrified of the dentist). My treatment plan has been thorough and clear and Dr Samra has been genuinely supportive. All in all my experience has been wonderful and I can't thank the team enough. Amazing dentist and dental nurse. My Son had his teeth extracted, he was very nervous and anxious but was completely made at ease by the kindness, gentleness and pure compassion of the lovely dentist and dental nurse, they are an absolute credit to the dental surgery.

Honestly the best of the best, Dr Samra is not only the most patient man on earth (I changed my mind about what I wanted A LOT) but he is a real perfectionist too! I wouldn't go anywhere else, he gave me a smile makeover with gum reshaping and composite veneers and I couldn't be happier!! They look amazing, life changing levels of amazing and the customer care side is absolutely unmatched. Couldn't recommend Dr Sam or Academy Dental any more if I tried! Updated on 2025-04-22: thanks to all who squeezed me in to Dr Samra's (Sam's) busy schedule, to tighten my implant crown. It had worked loose; I was in and out within half-an-hour, job done. Sam was as friendly and professional as ever, as were Tara and Christina, nurse and receptionist respectively. What a brilliant practice!
